R Dev Day @ useR! 2026

This is a form to nominate yourself to participate in the R Dev Day hosted at the University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland on Friday 10 July 2026.

This is not a registration form - participants will be selected from the nominations received to fill the available places, balancing across experience levels and giving opportunity to members of historically underrepresented groups.

Participants can attend the R Dev Day free of charge. We regret that support is not available for travel or accommodation. Registration at useR! 2026 is not required to participate in R Dev Day. A small number of places will be reserved for remote participants, novice contributors should be available for the full day (09:00 to 17:00 CEST UTC+2).

We encourage people to self-nominate even if their attendance depends on other applications being successful (e.g. for useR! presentation or visa).

The R Contribution Working Group will process personal data provided in this form for the purpose of administering and facilitating your participation in R Dev Day @ useR! 2026.

Data provided may be used to create anonymous summaries in reports of the event.

The legal basis for processing this data is your consent. You may withdraw consent, or exercise your rights to correct information or restrict processing by contacting heather.turner@r-project.org.  

The raw data will be stored under secure and confidential conditions, until six months after the event has taken place. The data will be collected on the R Foundation LimeSurvey server in Germany, then stored on OneDrive for Business in the UK. Therefore the data will be transferred out of the EU.
